Kanso is not waterproof. However, with the Aqua+ for Kanso (a silicone sleeve that covers the device), you can confidently wear your Kanso in water. Because the Aqua+ sleeve is completely airtight, Kanso requires nickel metal hydride, alkaline or silver oxide batteries to be used with the Aqua+.
